5 Traits of High-Achievers

Lately, between my onboarding new clients and SwagHer Magazine’s newest correspondents, my junior publicist leaving, the passing of my aunt, pursuing custody of my youngest daughter, my oldest daughter going to college, and a full schedule of classes for myself, I have been running like a chicken with my head cut off.

It’s an old saying, but it’s also how I feel, and yet I hope to portray an image of a swan. The swan floats gracefully across the pond, but what we cannot see is how hard their feet are working below the water.
I’m juggling a lot right now, but if we are being honest, if I were not, I would be looking for a lot to do. For many of us, as entrepreneurs, we are problem solvers, and we naturally look for problems to solve. It’s a blessing and a curse to be a high-achiever because we naturally want to add value to all the situations we incur.
Today I am sharing five habits of high achievers in case you are unaware that you, too, are a high achiever. So here goes below.
You are action-oriented.
You may only sometimes think things all the way through before stepping into action, but your good intentions guide you on the right path, and you usually accomplish what you set out to do. You are always trying to figure stuff out, and you are constantly creating and revamping your ideas.
You are a visionary.
Unlike many people, you can see the full staircase, and you have no problem taking it. You have a clear vision of what you want to bring to fruition, and you birth new projects.
You have laser focus.
Some might say when you get into projects that, you have blinders on because you only give attention to whatever you are working on. Your only goal is to see it complete, and you work to make it happen.
You are disciplined.
This is a given. You may have coaches and advisors, but at the end of the day, you know what you need to do, and you do it because it is important to you. You take initiative and are a self-starter, too.
You are a life learner.
You may not be in school like me, but you are continuously learning new things and further educating yourself. It could be said that you pursue knowledge for fun.
These are just a few traits of high achievers, but I would love to know what other traits you can think of and/or how you identify with any of these. Feel free to reply to this email.
