A Pioneer in the Visibility Game

I’ve been in this visibility space for some time now.

Back in 2021, I attended EpicCon hosted by Aprille Franks and found myself in the hot seat—unknowingly at first. I had walked in late and volunteered, not fully realizing what the moment required. By the time it was over, I felt exposed, a little defensive, but also open in a way I hadn’t expected. Once I understood the intention behind it, I allowed myself to receive the feedback for what it was: an opportunity to grow.

Later, while fixing a plate, I ran into Aprille again. In a brief but pivotal exchange, she said something that stayed with me: people didn’t need PR the way they once did—what they needed now was visibility.

At the time, “visibility” wasn’t a word I used in this context. I had heard it in passing, but not in business. Still, something about it resonated. I went home and studied it—intentionally, repeatedly—until I fully understood its weight and its application.

So when I speak about visibility today, it’s not from a place of trend or terminology. It’s from experience, from study, and from doing the work consistently over time.

Over the past several years, I’ve supported clients in securing placements, executing campaigns, and showing up with intention in their industries. Through the Visibility Vault for Black Businesswomen, we’ve seen a 71% close rate on shared opportunities—meaning a significant portion of what is presented to our members turns into real visibility, real press, and real momentum.

This work has been built over time, through both learning and doing. And it’s something I approach with care, strategy, and a genuine desire to see women show up fully in their purpose.

If you’ve been thinking about how to strengthen your visibility in a way that feels aligned and effective, I’d love to support you.
