Meet The Founder

 Founded in 2010 in Baton Rouge, LA, SwagHer Magazine is an empowerment and lifestyle publication for Black women who like to keep it real. 

Led by young single mother Francheska “Fancy” Felder, the magazine has flourished despite all the personal battles she has had to overcome to keep it afloat. The magazine was inspired by the stories of affluent Black women Fancy encountered while trying to find her way as a mom, college student at Southern University A&M, server, and exotic dancer. While on this journey, she experienced homelessness and discovered her bipolar disorder, but she has not allowed that to stop her from growing the business to six-figure years and building a team of five.
