How Trish Standley Went From Meaningful Work to Meaningful Visibility
Trish Standley was already building a powerful women’s empowerment media brand, creating community initiatives, and opening doors for women. With SwagHer PR’s visibility strategy behind her, she expanded her reach, stepped into new opportunities, and discovered an entirely new lane for her brand.
The Challenge
Where She Was When She Came to Us
Before working with SwagHer PR, Trish Standley was already doing meaningful work. She was hosting a television show, developing community initiatives, and creating opportunities designed to empower women. The challenge was making sure her public visibility reflected the true scope and impact of that work.
“I faced the challenge of turning meaningful work into meaningful visibility.”
Trish wanted a more consistent social media strategy, stronger media relationships, and greater exposure across multiple platforms. Her goal was to increase brand awareness, expand her audience, and establish a more recognizable presence within the women’s empowerment and lifestyle media space.
For Black women entrepreneurs, doing impactful work is only part of the equation. Strategic visibility helps ensure that the people, opportunities, and communities that need to know about that work can actually find it.
The Strategy
Our Visibility Approach
SwagHer PR approached Trish’s visibility by looking beyond a single business or platform and supporting the larger ecosystem of her brand. The strategy focused on creating consistent opportunities for exposure while helping her strengthen her positioning and connect with new audiences.
What We Did:
Created and presented media, interview, and speaking opportunities aligned with Trish’s brand and expertise.
Supported the visibility of Trish’s interconnected ventures, including her television show, clothing line, and nonprofit organization.
Provided strategic guidance to help strengthen audience engagement and reposition campaigns when needed.
Connected Trish with live events and community-building opportunities that expanded her reach beyond her existing platforms.
Supported her through the Visibility Vault for Black Business Women, providing access to accountability, education, strategic insights, collaboration, and community.

The Shift
Beyond the Metrics
The shift went beyond increased exposure. Through live events, interviews, speaking opportunities, and strategic guidance, Trish became more intentional about how she presented her brand, communicated her message, and connected with her audience.
The experience also helped her develop greater confidence as a speaker and educator. After presenting at SwagHer PR’s Becoming Her seminar, Trish developed a new initiative centered on journaling and personal development. She went on to launch a weekly live series, Becoming Her, guiding participants through a 12-week journaling journey for women beginning their self-reflection and personal-growth journeys.
Her visibility also expanded her professional network. Through SwagHer PR and the Visibility Vault for Black Business Women, Trish connected with a community centered on growth, collaboration, accountability, education, and mutual support.
In Her Own Words
“Don’t shrink your dreams to fit your current circumstances. Give your vision room to grow. You deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated.”
— Trish Standley, Founder, Trish Standley TV
